New Account Application


 

Use this online application form to set up a new account to access the SACCSchool-Age Child Care Registration Online system and request SACC services for each child added to your account. You can access this screen by simply selecting Create New Account on the Welcome to SACC Registration Online screen to start the application process and follow these steps:

 

 

Screen Overview

The screen consists of the following sections:

 

 

The step navigation pane features are:

 

 

The application step pane is described in each step below.

 

Step 1 - Enter Contact Information

Provide at least one contact for your account in this step. Up to three contacts can be added to an account. Two of the contacts can be designated as the billing recipient and include an address. Only one of the billing recipient contacts can be designated as the billing address contact.

 

Enter the following information for each contact (an asterisk next to the item indicates it is required):

Date of Birth (Enter the date in the mm/dd/yyyy format.)

Email Address (required for one of the contacts designated as the billing recipient)

Password and Confirm Password (required for the billing recipient contact if an email address is provided)

Primary Phone # *, Extension, and "Is this a cell phone?"

"Allow SMS Messages?" (this box can only be checked if the cell phone check box is checked)

Second Phone #, Extension, and "Is this a cell phone?"

"Allow SMS Messages?" (this box can only be checked if the cell phone check box is checked)

Third Phone #, Extension, and "Is this a cell phone?"

"Allow SMS Messages?" (this box can only be checked if the cell phone check box is checked)

Zip Code * (Enter your five digit zip code followed by the extended 4 digit zip, if known.)

Street Address *

Is this an apartment? *

City *

State *

 

Click Add Contact to add the contact information. If the email address or phone number provided is associated with an existing account, the system will display a message requesting a response (Login, Forgot Password, or Cancel). Click Login to connect to the SACC Registration Online system using your email address. Click Forgot Password to request a temporary password. Click Cancel to return to the application process.

 

Review the contacts added in the Contact List screen section and make any changes (remove or edit) as desired.

 

Click Next Step to proceed to step 2 of the application process. An error will display if there are no contacts and/or one of the contacts is not marked as a billing recipient.

 

 

 

Notes:

 

  • A warning message is displayed in this step  with the child's eligibility requirements for requesting services.

  • The email address for the contacts designated as billing recipient must be different.

  • Passwords must be at least six characters and include one uppercase letter, one number and one symbol. Passwords are case sensitive.

  • If the zip code entered is in Fairfax County, the system will automatically fill in the City.

  • You must add at least one contact to your account and at least one contact must be marked as a billing recipient.

  • Each contact added is displayed in the Contact List screen section.

  • The following message appears on the Contact Information screen: By registering a mobile number, I consent to receive automated texts from NCS SACC/Camp Fairfax to the mobile number provided. These informational texts may include information such as wait list clean-up notifications and other general account related notifications. By consenting to receive texts on my mobile phone, I understand I will no longer receive these notifications by email. Please note, you may text STOP to opt out or HELP for help at any time. Message & data rates may apply.

  • You can remove or edit contacts before proceeding to the next step. In the Contact List, click the icon in the Remove column to remove the contact from the list. To edit the contact information, click the icon in the Edit column, make changes and click Save to save changes made or click Cancel to discard any changes made.

 

 

 

Step 2 - Enter Account Information

Provide account information in this step of the application process.

 

Enter the following account information (an asterisk next to the item indicates it is required):

 

Billing Address Contact * (The system will display the Zip Code, Street Address, "Is this an apartment? [Y or N]", City, and State for the selected Billing Address Contact.)

Sliding Fee Scale * (SACC provides a sliding fee scale for families who are income eligible.)

Notes:

 

  • Only one contact can be designated as the billing address contact.

  • Only one of the billing recipient contacts can be designated as the billing address contact.

  • The billing address contact must have an email address.

 

 

 

Step 3 - Enter Child Information

Provide information for each child in this step of the application process.

 

A warning message is displayed in this step with the child's eligibility requirements for requesting services.

 

Enter the following child information (an asterisk next to the item indicates it is required):

FCPS Student ID

Current Grade *

Birth Date * (Enter the date in the mm/dd/yyyy format.)

Base School * (Only active centers appear in the list.)

Ethnicity *

Child Race * (Select all that apply. Provide a description if the Other option is selected.)

 

Click Add Child to add the child information.

 

Review the children added in the Children screen section and make any changes (remove or edit).

Notes:

 

  • Click the FCPS boundary locator link to determine the current school assignments for your address.

  • For the Current Grade, select the Key/Kilmer option if the child's Base School is the Key Center or Kilmer Center.

  • If the Base School selection is the Key Center or Kilmer Center, the system will display the message: SACC programs at Key and Kilmer Centers serve children and youth, ages 5-21, with multiple types of disabilities.

  • You must add at least one child to your account.

  • Each child added is displayed in the Children screen section. The entries are sorted by oldest to youngest child.

  • You can remove or edit the child information before proceeding to the next step. In the Children screen section, do one of the following:

    • To remove the child from the list, click the Remove icon. The system will request confirmation. If the deletion is cancelled, the child remains in the list. If the deletion is confirmed, the child is removed from the list.

    • To edit the child's information, click the Edit icon to make changes and click Save to save the changes made or click Cancel to discard any changes made.

 

 

 

Step 4 - Request Services

Request the SACC services for each child in this step of the application process.

 

A warning message is displayed in this step with the child's eligibility requirements for requesting services.

 

Make the appropriate selections for each child (an asterisk next to the item indicates it is required):

 

Select Child * (drop-down list will include the children added in step 3 that are eligible for services and a selection for all children)

Select School Year *

Select Service * (drop-down list will only include available services)

Select Center *

Select Program Hours * (drop-down list will only appear when the selected service is for summer sessions)

 

Click Add to add the requested service. A warning message is displayed if the child is not eligible for the requested service or the requested service was added for more than two centers. See notes below.

 

Review the services added in the Requested Services screen section and make any changes (remove).

Notes:

 

  • Parents cannot request SACC services in the current school year for a child in Pre-Kindergarten.

  • Parents can only request Summer services in the next school year for children who are in the sixth (6th) grade in the current school year.

  • Parents cannot select Summer services in the current school year for children who are in Kindergarten.

  • Parents can request a service for a child at a selected center. A limit of two centers can be requested per service.

  • Each service added is displayed in the Requested Services screen section. If multiple services are requested, the entries are grouped by:

    • School Year

    • Child (oldest to youngest)

    • Services with the following order: Before School, After School, Winter, Spring, and Summer

    • Center (alphabetically)

  • You can remove a requested service for a child if incorrectly filled out. Simply click the Remove icon to remove the requested service listed for the child. The system will request confirmation. If the deletion is cancelled, the requested service remains in the list. If the deletion is confirmed, the requested service is removed from the list.

 

 

 

Step 5 - Confirm and Submit

Review the information you provided in the previous steps. Once you determine all the information is correct, submit your application.
