When you click Cancel Services on the Current School Year, Next School Year, or Summer Enrollments tabs, the SACC Cancellation Policy and Continue Cancellation screen appears.
Click Cancel Services and a Continue Cancellation screen appears. This screen provides a summary of the requested cancellations.
Read the SACC Cancellation Policy and click the box to indicate that you agree with the policy.
If the cancellation is School Year sessions in the current year that have already started, provide the following required information:
In the Cancellation Reason column, select the reason for the cancellation from the drop-down list.
In the Cancellation Effective Date column, click the box to enter an effective date of the cancellation in the following format: mm/dd/yyyy. You may select the effective date from the calendar.
Do one of the following:
Click Confirm to proceed with the cancellations. The Cancellation Confirmation screen appears if the sessions are cancelled successfully for the account. If the account is currently locked by a SEMS user, the requested cancellation is discarded and a message is displayed: Your account is currently being processed by a SACC staff member and no updates are allowed.
Click Back to discard the requested cancellations and return to the Current School Year, Next School Year, or Summer Enrollments tab.

If you click Confirm and the requested cancellations are processed successfully for your account, a Cancellation Confirmation screen appears with the message "The selected services have been cancelled" at the top of the screen. This screen summarizes what was cancelled and gives you the option to print the cancellation screen.
To print the Cancellation Confirmation screen for your records, click the Print button.
The system will automatically email each of the online contacts when enrollment changes are made to your account.
Click Done to return to the Current School Year, Next School Year, or Summer Enrollments tab.
The 2-week cancellation policy of Fairfax County is as follows:
A minimum of two (2) weeks cancellation notice is required for current enrollments. Waitlists can be cancelled immediately.
Current enrollments cancelled on or prior to the 15th of the month will be billed for a half-month of service.
Current enrollments cancelled after the 15th of the month will be billed for a full month of service.
Cancellation of current enrollments or waitlists will cancel the same enrollments or waitlists for next year.
